The List

As the title suggest, I am going to list down some of the best TV models that are available in the market today. They may not be the cheapest (that’s a whole other article all together), but they are indeed some of the finest.

The LG Infinia 47LW5600

LG has always been one of my favorite HDTV brands as they give such excellent value for your money. From being known for their budget friendly TV models, LG has propelled itself to the forefront to become a formidable competitor to other HDTV giants such as Sony and Panasonic. The LG Infinia 47LW5600 stands out from the crowd for being a well rounded TV model. It plays both 3D and 2D movies extremely well and it even comes with 4 3D glasses. They have also thrown in a slew of cool extra wireless features. Above all, it is extremely well priced where it will greatly appeal to price sensitive consumers.

The Sony XBR-55HX929

The Sony's XBR-55HX929 is one of the more expensive models on our list but let us just say that it is worth every penny. Thanks to its sleek good looks and a chain of high-end features, you definitely have to get one of these if you have some extra cash to spare. Besides the usual feature such as being 3D enabled and having wi-fi connectivity, the Sony's XBR-55HX929 is very energy efficient and produces sublime picture quality. The colors are very real, images crisp and more importantly produces very dark and realistic dark levels. Also, it doesn’t hurt that it looks really cool and expensive in terms of external design.

The Samsung PN51D8000

The new Samsung PN51D8000 is currently one of the better plasma TV models out there. This generation of plasma screen is thinner than the last, where it is just 1.5-inches deep. It also has an extremely thin bezel for a 51-inch screen, measuring at just 1.2-inches wide. Like most of Samsung’s high end models, they did not hold back when it comes to extra features that includes a QWERTY keyboard on its remote (which uses both Bluetooth and infrared), lots of online content choices (including Netflix, Hulu Plus, Pandora and more) as well as social media apps. Picture quality was superb, even by Plasma TV standards. The only drawback is that it uses up a lot of power, just like how most Plasma models do.

The three HDTV models above are just a few among the slew of extremely impressive models out there. Lookout for our next installment on the best HDTVs that money can buy!
